Each ability and upgrade to your base kit is awesome. To keep this part spoiler-free, I'll keep it short. The way bosses are designed in this game is easily my favorite part of Hollow Knight hands down. The brilliant thing about this game is that boss fights are very short, high octane battles which end up being very satisfying to beat and never a chore to get up and try again if you fail. Each boss is unique and pose a different challenge for you to conquer. While there are a couple of stinkers, the overwhelming majority of "big baddies" are extremely fun to fight. The Hollow Knight Official Soundtrack is composed by Christopher Larkin.

Your arsenal is extremely simple (which is a good thing) and allows you to focus on the enemies moves and patterns without getting all tangled up in actually attacking. The Official Soundtrack for Hollow Knight captures the vast underground world of the game. In a nutshell, you can use your sword (or Nail as it called) and a handful of spells to attack enemies. The complexity of combat lies in how you approach the vast cast of creatures in Hollow Knight. Each area is unique and extremely detailed, which makes discovering new places just pure eye candy. This game really is gorgeous, and the screenshots alone help convey that.
